Charleston S.C. Bucket List ~ 11

The remainder of our time in Charleston was spent checking off items from our Charleston Bucket List. Our list was a combination of suggestions from Kelly and Gerry  (The Seanachai’ Social Club and Irish Pub ~ post #10) and tourist information I found online.

We spent a couple days walking and exploring the streets of historical Charleston.

Heart Woodfire Kitchen

Modern American meals with interesting combinations of meat, fish and vegetables using wood fired cooking techniques. I had the catch of the day and Neal had pulled pork. Both meals were fantastic!

Prohibition

Closed on Mondays!  We discovered this after a lengthy walk from one end of King Street to the other end. (This was on the list of suggestions from Kelly and Gerry at The Seanachai’ Social Club and Irish Pub) We were disappointed that it was closed. Not only were we tired, thirsty and hungry but when we pushed our noses up against the window, we could tell it would have been one of our favorites. We will have to catch it the next time through.prohibition_head
